WE don’t have to make it up – CHS has a virtual classroom set up that the DOE has approved as instructional time. It occurred to me this afternoon, though, that my KIDS (my biological ones) DO have to make it up, so I’ll get vacation days that they don’t. That is four different flavors of awesome.

Every school needs a Front Desk Goddess. I swear, our school would fall apart without Miss G at the wheel. Sure, we teachers think we’re important, but NOTHING would get done around here if it wasn’t for Miss G. All hail the Front Desk Goddess!

The ones who need the lesson won’t get it, and the ones who get the lesson don’t need it.
Funny, because I just had a similar conversation with my Trigonometry teacher about an hour ago. He’s giving an extra-credit quiz online, and he told me that the only people who do it are folks who already have a pretty good grade, and the ones who need it won’t even make an attempt.
